Bookings
Our facilities are ideal for meetings, clubs or groups of any size, and are situated right in the heart of the Crookes community. All dimensions are approximate. Click on the images to see a larger version.
Church Hall (13m x 9m)
This is the main downstairs room that you can see through the glass doors at the front of the building. The door from the car park into the entrance area provides an accessible route into the building. There is an accessible toilet off the entrance area and there are no steps from the entrance area to the Church Hall. The floor is of sealed wood and there is a large kitchen off the side of the Hall with two serving hatches. The room is usually left empty, but there are chairs and tables that can be set up as required.
Worship Area (20m x 17m)
This is the main upstairs room where we meet for services on a Sunday. There is a lift from the entrance area to the Worship Area and there is an accessible toilet off the far side of the room. There is a small kitchen (for making hot drinks) with serving hatch off one corner of the room. The room is usually left with around 100 chairs set out in rows, but these can be moved as required as long as they are put back afterwards.
Upper Room(12m x 7m)
This is a medium sized room at the top of the building. There are about 6 steps up from the Worship Area level with no disabled access. The nearest facilities are the same as those for the Worship Area. The room is usually left empty with chairs stacked at one end that can be arranged as required. There is a grand piano available for use by those who hire the room.
Brice Hall (17m x 7m)
This is a medium sized room at the back of the ground floor of the building. There are no accessible toilets on this level, since there are a few steps to get down to the Church Hall. The nearest facilities are the same as those for the Church Hall. The room is usually left empty with chairs stacked at one end that can be arranged as required. There is a partition that can split the hall into two smaller rooms.
Emmaus Room (8m x 5m)
This is a small room behind the Worship Area. The nearest kitchen and accessible toilet facilities are the same as those described for the Worship Area. The room is usually left with around 25 chairs set out in rows, but these can be moved as required.
